DirecTex works with some of the largest fabric mills in order to provide excellent quality and differentiating fabric lines. Our line of Yaw Liamy fabrics offer pre-coated and pre-treated fabrics, in addition to custom coated and treated fabrics. Fabric coatings and treatments are essential to improving the durability, sustainability, and “hand” of nylon and polyester fabrics. Coatings and treatments are not mutually exclusive. The most popular manufacturing fabrics contain both a coating and a treatment. Be careful when coating a fabric, the right mixture of coatings and treatments can make or break your fabric when it comes to long-lasting durability.

Durability and Fabric Coatings/Treatments

DirecTex’s engineers base our coatings and treatments off of a number of industry-standard tests that allow us to certify the products and meet the performance needs of the end user.
