Zip-Itâ„¢ coil chain consists of extruded nylon teeth which are then sewn onto the fabric tape. Coil zipper teeth are stronger and more flexible than metal zippers and are widely used on tents, canvas goods, apparel, and bags. Zip-Itâ„¢ coil zippers are the zipper of choice for the outdoor and luggage industry. Zip-Itâ„¢ offers a heavy duty and economical line with chip-resistant sliders.

Zipper Repair

Should a tooth get out of alignment, Zip-Itâ„¢ coil zippers are also pretty easy to repair. The coil can easily correct itself by zipping and unzipping past the point where the tooth is misaligned. Another thing to note is that with nylon coil zippers, the sliders can be put on the zipper chain either direction and the zipper will still function.

Zip-Itâ„¢ continuous coil chain is stocked in black and in #5, #8, and #10 coil. Dye to match colors are available upon request. Zip-Itâ„¢ sliders are stocked in black and available in standard pull, reversible, no-pull, and locking Slider. Colored or custom finished sliders are available upon request.
